True Story: And He Didn’t Even Need a Conference Room

This week we will hear from Cesar Ravan, CPA who discusses stunning instances where business impacting changes were facilitated by being a client of Quest Workspaces’ 777 Brickell center.  Cesar started his business at Quest with the smallest interior office and has upgraded three times since. He now occupies a 150 square foot window office.  At Quest, connections are natural and as you will see, these winning interactions happened Quester to Quester without time consuming formalities or endless hours spent toiling away in a conference room.

Gaining New Clients

Cesar now has three clients within the same floor at Quest as a result of interconnectivity between center clients. To quote Cesar:

“One of the fantastic things Vanessa Vega, the center manager, has done for me is always try to promote my business within the floor. She’s always thinking of ways of doing a luncheon or a presentation.”

As clients often look to the center manager for local recommendations, several had inquired about accounting services. Vanessa made the introduction to Cesar, and the rest is history.

When in search of service, many Quest clients prefer to work with their peers at the center.  Being in close proximity helps them communicate faster and receive a higher level of attention. Efficiency is especially critical in services such as accounting or law where clients are billed by the hour.  Oftentimes getting it done happens quicker on the fly rather than dragging it out in the conference room!

Finding Talent

Cesar had fruitlessly conducted an online search for an office manager. He consulted with Vanessa the “matchmaker” who passed on a resume that she had received through the front desk. Cesar interviewed the candidate and two days later she was already working for him. She’s still with him to this day.  He is now training her to take on higher responsibility. In fact, her deep Rolodex of out of state connections have proven critical in his expansion into other geographies. No need to sift through enough resumes to fill a conference room – the Quest connection did the trick in no time.

Shared office space is about leveraging the strength of the community, sharing success, and supporting one another.  Quest Workspaces was founded with the mission to give its clients the freedom to work the way they want. We unleash the potential of our interconnected web of Questers by opening communications and facilitating partnerships.  To hear about Quest virtual offices, execute offices, or even a conference room, please contact us at info@questworkspaces.com.
