The Palm Beach County Bar Association had reason to file a motion when a fire rendered their office quite a disturbing verdict. In late January, an overnight fire caused significant smoke and fire damage that led the building to close for renovation. Quest, a provider of shared office space in West Palm Beach, came to the Association’s rescue by answering all their phone calls during their transition time of finding new space for their employees.
The Bar Association reached out to Quest one January morning from their office parking lot as the building was aflame. Apparently, a fire had started in their IT room. The consequence was that the organization would be without a space to call their own for their 8 employees for a period of 5 to 6 months while they rebuilt their office space. With the phone lines down, a business interruption of this magnitude was quite serious for them. Quest responded by offering to act as a receptionist for their rerouted phone lines. Handling the large call volume was a huge step on the road to recovery. In addition, Quest assisted the Bar Association in finding permanent space by contacting a property manager in Quest’s own building.
