Quest Workspaces Adds 11th Coworking Space at 48 Wall St New York City

New York, NY (August 1, 2018) – Quest Workspaces (“Quest”) is proud to announce the opening of its 11th coworking location in New York City. As of August 1st, Quest operates the coworking center located at 48 Wall Street in New York City’s Financial District in partnership with MacDonald & Cie, owners of 48 Wall Street. Quest will occupy 43,542 square feet on the entire 10th, 11th and 12th floors.

48 Wall Street originally served as the headquarters for the Bank of New York. It is a landmark building with  324,000 of square feet on 34 floors that was gut-renovated in 2001 into a modern office building. The Quest space will offer companies a selection of modern and stylish private offices, meeting rooms, and coworking options, Quester lounges, nap rooms and phone booths. The center is located close to the New York Stock Exchange and all major subway lines.

Quest’s newest partnership with MacDonald & Cie was a year in the making.  The innovative new concept of “office as a service” was what brought the two together.  The ownership knew that activating underutilized spaces and offering tenants a variety of amenities and programming would be the best way to better position their building in such a competitive market, especially in FiDi.

Said Quest CEO Laura Kozelouzek, “It is an honor to have a presence in one of New York City’s landmark buildings and one with such historical significance. Our vision and interests are completely aligned with MacDonald & Cie – understanding that work is changing, and the way tenants are looking at buildings has completely changed. It’s more than just 4 walls, it’s about experience. We look forward to bringing amenities that will foster greater work-life balance, better socialization and networking abilities, a more humanized work environment, and overall enrichment of the workplace experience for the companies who join us in our 48 Wall Street center.”

Said Bryce MacDonald, General Partner of MacDonald & Cie, the building owners, “With the Quest center, we are excited to usher in to a new age of workspace innovation and flexibility at 48 Wall Street. We are confident that this partnership will serve Quest member companies well by delivering next generation amenities and office space flexibility that flow in concert with the building’s heritage and rich history.”
