Why take advantage of free meditation classes?
Meditation can clear your head, refocus your energy and recharge your body and spirit. If you haven’t tried meditation yet, this might be a good time to. It can be the most productive time you spend all day. Especially in the middle of a hectic work day; meditation is your oasis.
Innergy Meditation, is opening a new studio in Miami this fall. And to help celebrate, Quest Workspaces is hosting free weekly summer pop-up meditation classes at all of our South Florida locations. Conducted by certified Innergy instructors, the classes are only twenty minutes per session. So they can easily be tucked into your lunch hour schedule.
Now, if you’re not familiar with meditation, you might think it amounts to little more than sitting still and closing your eyes. In fact, it’s much more. Innergy cofounders, Paul Silitsky and Andrea Lubell are on a mission to educate everyone as to the restorative effects of meditation; especially in the workplace. “Today’s society is burning out from technology overload and constant digital contact,” Paul tells us. And that, according to the experts, is where meditation can really have a positive impact. “Meditation helps you learn to quiet the non-stop chatter. It’s a tonic for health and happiness,” explains Andrea. “You will end your session feeling more relaxed, happier, calmer and more clear.”
That must be why meditation is increasingly being used by schools, medical centers, workplaces and the military as a way to focus attention and decrease stress. Scientific studies link numerous health and functional benefits to meditation including:

- Improved communication
- Increased productivity
- Decreased absenteeism due to illness
